We got an initial valuation with Andy Robinson and signed a contract with Whitehornes 1 year prior to us actually listing our property. We felt absolutely no pressure to list within this period and there was a good level of communication to update us on the state of the housing market. When we decided to list, they were extremely prompt in listing it online and setting up our online portal, so we could manage the viewing timetable with ease (a fantastic feature). During the sale, they were hugely supportive (Kerry Sanderson in particular) in ensuring the agreed sale price was maintained following a request from the buyer to reduce it months later. We would strongly recommend using Whitehornes for their professionalism, communication and understanding.

I have rented a Whitehorne’s property for just shy of a year now. The process of securing the property was the easiest I’ve ever experienced and Beth in the office is absolutely amazing. Compared to what my friends pay within a mile radius, my flat is *very* reasonably priced. Ian showed me around the property due to staff shortages I believe, and I think that’s a testament to the business that the owner would step up and do something like that rather than just postpone it and inconvenience me (I travelled 2hrs to view it). He was even sweet enough to give me a mini tour of the area in his car, showed me the local shops / bars / pubs, & dropped me off into the city centre after! I asked for the plans for the flat prior to moving in as it was unfurnished and even though they didn’t have them on file, they sent someone over to measure it all up for me so that I could arrange furniture in advance. Impeccable attentiveness & customer service throughout. I had trouble renting a place because my earnings are low, but Whitehorne were very understanding of this and allowed me to rent with provision of a guarantor (the only letting agents that I spoke to who would allow this). I’ve done a few refurbishments to the property (resiliconing the bathroom, sanding & painting doors, soon changing the bedroom carpet) and the guys over at Whitehorne’s are more than happy for me to do so. Any issues I had with the property moving in and any maintenance issues since were sorted promptly by Kile (always with a smile and reachable out of hours), or where the problem was more specialist (I.e, changing the living room blinds which were faulty and some TV aerial problems), they got someone in to do it all for me. It’s nice to rent a property where it feels like the landlord & letting agency care about the standard of where you’re living and want to make you feel comfortable in your space. I also have a little cat with me and they have always been absolutely fine with this, which is a rarity. Really happy here so far and all being well I’ll spend the rest of my time in Sheffield in this lovely little home. Thank you so much everyone at Whitehorne!
