One of the three round bowling greens in the Darwen area, and like most greens this summer 2018 has suffered at the mercy of the hot and extremely dry weather. Still, some respite arrived in the shape of a heavy downpour, which thankfully helped the green return to a little more green looking! The edge nearest to the entrance gate runs off very fast and had the worst drought damage. Up hill towards the club house. Friendly club with welcoming members.
