Got my LAPL PPL and complex rating here. Very professional and friendly instructors, the Bar is a great place to have a meal with a view out onto the flight line. Huge fleet of PA-28s of all verities to my knowledge there are the 151,161,181,180 and 200 variants of the PA-28. Along side the PA-28s they do have a fleet of PA-18 supercubs that I am planning on getting tail wheel rated on some point in the future. In addition to this. White Waltham has 3 grass runways which makes take off and landing more challenging. in addition to this. the circuit is very busy.. The advantage to learning to fly here is that you get used to and manage these challenging conditions so when you fly to another airfield it is often a piece of cake.

A gorgeous (and busy!) little airfield. I'm not a member, or even a pilot, but it's a lovely place to park up and eat a sandwich on your lunch break :)
