A few months ago, the time had come for my cat to be pts. Covid restrictions had been eased accross the country so I made that hard decision and made the call for the appointment. At no point was I told that I couldn't be there when it happened or much procedurally at all. I arrived, incredibly tearful and already inconsolable that I had to walk off leaving my husband in the car as I would be the only one allowed in. The man came out to the car and said he needed to take the cat and "did I want the carrier back?!" I said I wanted to be there with him but he just said no it wasn't possible so in shock and a complete mess I had to stand there and hand over my boy like a discarded toy. I have never felt so guilty and awful as I was made to feel that day and I will never go back there with another animal again.

We've been using the White Mill for over 30 years and they've always looked after our various cats with wonderful care from kittens through to the inevitable sad time for putting them to sleep (the oldest reached 22!). We can highly recommend them
