Went to visit Sandwich town as we drove past spotted windmill museum. Didn’t look like much from the outside but very knowledgeable and pleasant volunteers and extensive collection of various farming, various trades equipment from 1700. If in town a visit is a must. My son decided to build a windmill after the visit.

Fantastic little historic gem that is well worth visiting. There is a lot to see here, from the heritage buildings with rooms just as they would have been long ago to the collections of agricultural tools and machinery. And then, there is the mill itself, the blacksmith's and the workshops. Very friendly, helpful volunteers are the icing on a most excellent cake.

What an interesting heritage site! The volunteers running it couldn't be lovelier. Shame about the windmill which was armless as the attachments are being refurbished but a wonderful museum in itself
