What a wonderful stay we had at White Hill Woods. Perfect starting point for hikes, trip to London, beaches in the south and wine and pizza within a few minutes. The lodge and garden were perfect for us and our 3 kids. Using the outdoor fire place, swing, trampoline, shooting hoops. The use of the heated(!) pool was a big plus as well. We definitly recommend visiting Dom and Anna.

Fabulous place! Really recommend to book, it’s lovely and clean, beautiful surroundings. Amazing private and huge garden with swing, fire fit, children’s playhouse stocked with toys. Really beautiful. The hosts are so kind and friendly if you need they have many recommendations of great places to visit in the local area.

This was my 2nd time to stay at White Hill Woods and I can’t recommend it enough . This time around I took one of my best friends, my niece and my puppy and they loved it every second of our visit . Snuggled away in a meadow with just green fields as far as the eye can see , we cozied up with a fire and gorgeous cookies and tea left out for us . Situated a 2 mins walk away from the most picturesque quaint little village like a scene from “The Holiday “movie , all of the that missing was Jude Law to appear around the corner . Dinner in the Mount Vineyard is a must ! The local village folk are so friendly and made us feel very welcome . Yet again the White Hill Woods didn’t disappoint and I’m already planning my next visit . Thanks to Dom and Emma for being the perfect hosts

What a great find for a couple of weary Londoners looking to recharge our batteries. The location is sublime - just a couple of minutes walk from the station but in a beautiful, tranquil valley settings. You can head off on woodland walks right from the property which offer stunning views over the area. The lodge is thoughtfully designed and well appointed, and the host was attentive and helpful. We'll be back soon to enjoy the lodge in other seasons too!

The cabin is cosy, spotless and perfectly appointed, the pool warm as bathwater and the setting lovely...and Dom was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. I would definitely stay again!

What more could you ask for than this perfect little spot of paradise? 2 nights in this beautiful tranquil shepherds hut with everything to hand made a work trip feel like a little break away. Despite the torrential downpour, we were so warm and cosy. The hut is immaculate and the meadow is just gorgeous. Dom was the perfect host and went above and beyond to ensure we had all we needed without ever being intrusive. He even went to the extent of bringing us a step stool as my ‘vertically-challenged’ travel companion struggled getting up onto the bed with dodgy hips! A dog friendly stay with fantastic walks on the doorstep, with loads of info about the surrounding area, and loads of dog friendly welcoming pubs and restaurants within walking distance! We will definitely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
