If you get given the room 123 (mentioned in other reviews below) hand them the room key back and go somewhere else. I paid £144 for a small double room for my partners birthday and there was no way to have any air in the room as you couldn’t open the window. The only window in the room was a tiny window in the back corner and when you opened it there was a dirty/dusty ventilation unit blowing hot air straight into the room. The temperature outside was 22 degrees and our room had to be 35 at least didn’t sleep at all felt claustrophobic and sick from the heat. As mentioned in other reviews there is zero sound proofing we had people upstairs (don’t know if we were below a staff area) running around from 6am and the floor boards creaking were horrendous and it didn’t stop from 6am. The hotel itself is lovely and so are the staff but I feel like I’ve just paid £144 to torture myself for a night. The room we were given should be turned into a storage room not a room for people to stay.

Rooms: We booked a standard room and it was was bigger than expected Nearby activities: Located in the centre of Harrogate. We were going to the Royal Hall in the evening and this was a short walk away. Food & drinks: Excellent bar. Breakfast was also very good.
