Would not recommend this place to anyone literally had enough fuel to get me across the road to garage , car was supposed to have been serviced and moved 2 months before I purchased it I had to have new breakpads within the 1st week also 2 new tyres on the front because of a blow out due to alignment being so far out it did not register tyres were extremely warn on insides. Avoid at all costs!

Soo Iv had my car 10 months. Im quite sensible checked its previous MOT’s. ‘Advisories about the tyres, both front to be specific’.. both worn to the legal limit? Id like to know when these were supposedly changed? As I have almost been involved in a fatal collision tonight with my 4 month old baby in the car!!!! When the tyre was removed it was balded to the point the metal is exposed, iv barely driven it more than 1000 miles!? Also a battery change was meant to have been done? The battery isn’t new at all and keeps going dead! Not only was I sold this car under the proviso it is in working condition, I was promised all repairs would be made. I will be contacting trading standards and the motoring ombudsman as; as the consumer I feel I well within my rights. The lies and negligence of whoever is meant to have “repaired” it could have cost not just me; but my boyfriend and my 4 month old babies lives! Not to mention whoever Passed the MOT of that vehicle will likely be highly responsible also!! I hope white cottage cars may resolve this without involvement but I highly doubt it will be done and I will likely need to seek help from the above and also potentially seek legal action.

Avoid if possible. Bought a car and drove 250 miles to London and a further 100 miles in and around London and the engine light came on. The car would misfire badly and was still under warranty. White Cottage wants me to bring the car to their garage but won't cover the cost. BMW told me the fault has been masked by unbranded items and there are several bad leaks. It would cost me an arm and a leg to repair. All this under 3 months warranty and car is a piece of junk. We contacted you before the warranty expired ( contrary to your reply) on the 7th of January 2022) and bought the car on the 17th of Oct 2021 which is well under 3 months. We never complained about the local garage(BMW Approved centre) which is straight out lie. I kept all comms by email and have all the proof. You agree to cover part of the spark plugs but then BMW told me the issue is more than the Spark Plugs that's when you send a letter from your solicitor. Your reply is full of inaccuracies and unjustified.

Good car buying experience, not rushed at all, left to browse at your leisure. Even when you pick one they give you the keys and the time to go over it for as long as you want.. quality cars at good prices. Went in for a Mazda, came out with a VW lol.. The lads in the office are knowledgeable and a friendly bunch and made everything easy, even helped me tax the car. Check out this car lot before any other, the car I bought is in mint condition... Defo recommend White Cottage Cars to anyone..
