One of the best houses I've used for my bespoke commissions. Apart from making me a pair of odd trousers (that has one of the cleanest lines I've ever seen), they also made me this fantastic 30s inspired belted polo coat. Needless to say, the service is superb and they never disappoint me. Definitely worth giving them a try.

To be honest, I am sad to have to write this review. The sales and marketing are excellent and the expectations high. But the performance not so good. The fit just was not quite right despite fittings and assurances and after moderate wear, stitching came undone at pockets and at the fly. This is just not good enough for Savile Row prices. I will not return.

I must say that I sincerely couldn't be more pleased. The jacket they’ve made me has jumped immediately into top place as both my best fitting AND most casually comfortable piece of clothing: the shoulders are just what I wanted, even softer (much softer) than in the jacket of the beautiful three-piece grey flannel they've made me previously; there remains, despite the soft structure, a bit of English drape that I love in the chest; and really it's the waist that is absolutely sublime-- a perfect pinch, fitting me so well between the arm holes and waist; most of all, the skirt is truly the most beautiful I've worn in a jacket, with even the snifter-shaped patch pockets perfectly proportioned for its exquisite lines.

Long standing customer now. Three coats, half a dozen suits, another half dozen jackets paired with trousers - also a few odd trousers. This firm has a beautiful cut, I am very faithful to it. Best termed: classic and refined. Head cutter Mr McCabe has skill and experience. Matched to Mr Ramakrishnan's flair for cloth and attention to details. Take a few weeks or months and take pleasure, consideration, in thinking about what you wish to wear; then visit W&S on St George Street and get it made. If you are a first time customer, think about colour and cloth first and above all - trust Suresh and John with the rest. This is truly one of the most satisfying ways to dress. I commissioned my first suit about 5 years ago - it feels just as special as the latest one and they only get more comfortable with time. What everyone forgets to mention, although it is the basic fundament behind 'why' bespoke looks and feels so good to wear: it has shape. Whoever you are and however you are shaped, your clothes will fit you and this is will be evident to everyone, whether they are conscious of it or not. The details (pockets, vents, bells and whistles) matter less, as long as the garment has shape. This is why you must trust the tailor, the manager and their experience - they will give it the shape.
