My husband has purchased a LOT of jewellery from this Jewellers for me having considering it the best in town (Worthing)...Not any more. He bought me abeautiful pendant but I needed a longer chain which I purchased 2 weeks ago, it popped open when I took it off oer my head, which was the sole purpose of buying the longer chain, I took it back and was told I have to pay £35 to have it soldered!! This should have been offered free, I've only had it 2weeks! I've asked other Jewellers for their thoughts on this and they agreed. They also have offered to soldered it for £15-£20, half the price of Whibley. And it wasn't even purchased from them! I found the staff are snooty and unfriendly unless you are buying from them as i exchanged a watch with them last year and altered another piece of jewellery in the past. Take your business elsewhere if I were you.

Superb. Visit here first! On a tour of Guildford's jewellers in search for a gift Whibleys was the last place we visited (out of 8 I think) and was head and shoulders above other shops; - Everything was on display in the main windows WITH PRICES - The selection was plentiful and of good quality, there were variations of designs and styles, it was well organised (like with like) and roughly catered for High-Low to Low-High. It all felt very maintained. - The staff were fantastic and friendly and it felt very welcoming, no stuffiness, good culture - one employee wilfully gave a colleague our business as they had clocked us first. Go here first, it's the best display, selection and experience.
