I actually was a volunteer for this organisation for about 4 years and enjoyed every moment that I spent working with individuals that had special needs or disabilities. Basically the organisation had specially converted bicycles and normal bicycle that individuals can ride with a volunteer or carer on a huge cycling training track the place is called herne hill velodrome. The velodrome is one of the oldest cycling tracks in the world it was built in 1891 and used in the 1948 summer Olympics and briefly the home of crystal palace football club during world war 1. This doesn't mean it is dilapidated far from it the best thing about it was the big smiles laughter from our clients when the wind was hitting their faces. A great organisation

Mobility is a essential element of our lives, getting from A to B. For many disabled people the opportunity to be mobile is severely restricted by the solutions that exist. Cycling is an ideal way to get from the A to B and benefits our health. Wheels for Wellbeing is showing the way for cycling to be truly inclusive. For all disabled people opening the door to being active, mobile and in control. Pushing for effective policy change that brings about cycling as an option for disabled people.
