Great place, good food, nice rooms and service. Very dog friendly hence the visit with our dog Barney. He loved the attention. Carol, Nigel and the team were really welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Stayed for 3 nights and hope very much to go back! Noteworthy details: Very dog friendly with treats and a welcome pack on arrival. They even have a special dog menu.

Had a super lunch here last Friday, the chef is very talented. Don't usually have a starter but had to try the Black Pudding with crispy bacon, creamy dijon sauce, topped with a poached egg. It was fabulous, will return again just for that! Main courses were great, fish&chips, and cajun chicken burger, both delicious. The bar is a joint hotel reception and you have to order at the bar, but not busy so perfectly fine. Will be back.

Bathroom equipped with shower gel,conditioner and good quality towels.Some rooms also have a bath Nearby activities: Good for walks,visits to other places on public transport or by car Large carpark at the hotel Safety: Very clear instructions in the event of a fire Walkability: Easy walk to train station at Ben Rhydding (to Leeds or Ilkley or Bradford) or a flat easy walk into Ilkley where a good choice of buses to go to other places Food & drinks: Good choice on menu and of a high quality.Breakfast cooked to order so no food 'hanging around' on a table for the duration.Plenty of choice for lunch or evening meal and they have Special offers each day
