Thank you for your response, but may I ask, is it standard practice for Wheatcroft to enquire whether or not a 'patient' will be purchasing their spectacles from that practice before a decision is made to make an appointment? that was the first question I was asked, following the checking of my file ?

Tried to make an appointment today 28 October 2022, for an eye test, my appointment was declined because, I wasn't going to purchase Wheatcroft spectacles. My wife and I have been using Wheatcroft for about 4 years. I did suggest Wheatcroft could supply the Lenses, for my own frame. Unfortunately Wheatcroft selection of men's spectacles aren't suitable for me. They suggested I went to another Optician. The Lenses I required are a Super thin 1.74 lense with anti reflect etc, and Transition lenses, the cost would have been between £275.00 and £375.00. The person on the phone didn't bother to ask.

I wouldnt recommend this opticans as they put you on hold for five minutes and then put the phone down without even ringing you back very ignorant receptionist .
