I thought the course was fantastic. Lovely atmosphere, great space, and Nick's expertise and passion was top notch. Disproportionately proud of my first ever dovetail joint!

Attended Nick’s weekend workshop. Learned so much about the importance of accuracy and careful preparation when carrying out ‘simple’ jobs such as cutting wood. I’ve made a dovetail joint and mortise and tenon. I’m now raring to go with my first project. Nick is a good guy and an engaging instructor.

Just done the weekend introductory course. It’s more than half a century since I did any fine woodworking at school but this course brought all that back and much much more. The small class size leaves time for everyone to get the help they need and Nick paid attention to everyone individually. Cannot recommend it more highly.

Great course with Nick who is a fount of woodworking knowledge. Picked up some great tips and tool suggestions. Particularly liked the first-principal based approach to joinery, chisel sharpening, sanding and finishing techniques. I look forward to putting my newly acquired skills to use. Highly recommended.
