Surprisingly large site. Very open and large pitches but felt quite crowded. Forced to pitch mid-gravel which will suit the car, caravan and awning clientele but we prefer to have grass to sit on outside our van. Usual slightly passive-aggressive experience of club site booking, welcome and rules. Facilities clean and functional with good showers. Bit of a roadside trudge into Grassington but only 30 mins. The nearby Spar is excellent with deli and butchers counters. Note for walkers: there's access from the SW corner of the site onto a footpath to Skirethorns Lane, and pavement walk all the way into Grassington.

First outing in our very old but lovely 2 berth.......... Also the very first site I went to with my late Mum and Dad 44 years ago!! I can't remember much about it then but our visit this time was just great. Everything we needed, shower/toilet block is immaculate and Faith, Dave, Hillary and Ed couldn't have been more helpful. They are very friendly and always on hand if needed. The traditional pub on site is also very friendly with good food (always book, it gets busy). Plenty of walks around and lots to see and do. This will always be a site that we return to and will always be special to us. I like that you can choose your pitch when you get there but obviously it fills up quickly as the day goes on. Definitely recommend.

Just had a couple of nights here. Great location for walks and lovely villages. Places to eat within walking distance. Site is fabulous and wardens were always on hand and ready to help a hand if you needed it. Lovely place.

We have just spent the Easter break at this beautiful site the facilities are excellent and spotlessly clean the wardens are so friendly and willing to help in any way they can top marks to them for all their hard work there is loads to do we will definitely be back
