I didn't eat, I just popped in for a pint. I loved it, the staff were attentive, the beer was amazing. The place itself is clean, tidy, with a lovely beer garden. The menu looks nice, so I'll be definitely taking my family there as there's something for all. Great place, see you soon 😊

Went here on Sunday 21st May. Very quiet for a sunny sunday? ... ordered scampi and chips and the blue cheese and bacon burger. Food came out way too quick to be fresh and another restaurant that takes payment before you have even see the food. The food had all been warmed up, absolutely no flavour to the scampi , definitely not from whitby, as stated!! The burger was also tasteless. Paying for food before you have seen it or tasted it makes complaining more difficult. Outside seating was over grown and tired. Would not recommend unfortunately, the empty seats on a beautiful day, should have spoke volumes.

Had a visit for steak night, not very busy, good table. Four people four sirions. All arrived but unfortunately the two well done were rare, so back too the kitchen. It should not be hard to serve food as ordered and of course we then ended up eating two meals whilst two people waited for their meals. I will say service was great, but the evening could have been better. Nothing offered as an apology, i.e. a pudding or a reduced bill. We hope next time it is better.
