Update: the cinema has been totally changed into a 2 screen complex with small, intimate rooms decorated with comfy chairs and 2-seater sofas, each different to the next and each with a little table. The cafe at the entrance serves hot and cold drinks, cake and popcorn, which they will bring to your seat when ready. We missed the quaintness of what it was, but loved the new style too. Looking forward to our next visit. [OLD] Wonderful old-style cinema with comfy seats and a pleasant vibe. At their closing couple of days (for renovations) they generously gave away snacks and drinks to accompany their films.

Visited today and was very impressed by the whole experience. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional, the cappuccino is great and the cinema has sofas with small refreshments tables interspersed with single armchairs. The seating is stacked and the audience has a good view of the screen from all seats, there’s plenty of legroom and overall, a sense of spaciousness. Projection and sound are excellent and match that of many chain cinemas.
