Hideous experience trying to settle my account. First attempt was 45 minutes mostly on hold before being hung up on. On the 2nd attempt the agent told me they "are not allowed to give you the current balance without being on put hold first" which is rather strange. Truly awful, no customer service at all, why this all can't be done online is beyond me.

Everyone who works for this company should be ashamed for themselves. These people are just loan sharks. The least of their consideration is to help students. Instead, they only care to get their money back while they keep increasing interest rates. Meaning: Take advantage of students who once needed a £5,000 loan for a master's degree. And this was only one example of how they steal your money. DISGUSTING!

Submitted clear and organizational evidence of being incapacitated in order to clear arrears and after 2 months reviewing it gets rejected. Want to know every transaction on my bank statements from up to 6 years ago, of course that's virtually impossible. They make it hard to do the right thing. They automatically put you down for maximum earnings and maximum repayments and then add on thousands for arrears, when you try to clarify they block every explanation. Avoid and use another institution.
