On the 23rd of April at 15:00 I was visiting the Weston libraries and saw some signs talking about the reading rooms. So I approached the information desk to get detailed information on the usage of reading rooms. The receptionist lady at the desk was very rude and told me they are closed. I told her I only want to get some information. She told me "I do not know what your status is. Come back tomorrow." and continued to type on her computer. I asked her about how the library card works and how do we get a card and she said she said: "I told you to come tomorrow". She raised her voice and was very rude and unwelcoming towards me. I told her that the words Information are written behind her however she is not willing to provide any information and on top of that, she is raising her voice and being rude. She did not care to give me more information and she wasn't willing to help me out. I'm very disappointed that such rude service is provided at the Weston library information desk. Clearly, the person is not interested in providing any value to the visitors and busy looking at the computer screen and not caring what the customers need. I reported this to the library via email and they did not care to respond, thus I'm sharing this interaction here.

I was looking for a bathroom so I walked into this place purely on chance. Not only did they have a bathroom, They have a nice cafe in a huge airy space with lots of light and there was also 2 amazing art exhibits free to the public. Both about the the history of photography in Oxford and England. I went in to too quickly pee and came out 90 minutes later with a latte and feeling slightly more educated. And for the rest of the day I was wondering what the boundaries of traditional photography, and what is its purpose in this digital age.

(Translated by Google) Stopped in while visiting Oxford. It is a new and beautiful facility, and there is a wide atrium cafe as soon as you enter, where you can eat light meals. There is also a restroom while taking a break, and you can also buy nice souvenirs at the shop.
