Plumber attended to add extra outlet for washing machine installation.He advised me that the work was unnecessary as I already had the appropriate fitting. He could have pretended to carry out the work and with my limited plumbing knowledge I would have been none the wiser.He also agreed to waive his call out fee, as he had only been on the premises for around five mins. Overcharged per hour (180 per hour) for a simple blocked drain job, took an hour and a half (half an hour spent in the car) and didn't unblock the drain nor inspect it before starting, tried to pass on the buck to Thames Water who, with their drawings, told us unequivocally that this was not their problem but that the private drainage company should have dealt with it first time around. Even afterwards, they tried to convince me that this was Thames Water's issue while providing no evidence of the matter apart from that they couldn't fix it, and when I provided three pieces of evidence that this was something that wasn't thames water's responsibility and that they could have fixed it first time around and inspected what the problem was (as one obviously needs to know what the problem is before fixing it!), they had no answer really, except that they could finish the job for more money on the hourly rate. Called someone else, they fixed it without issue nor complaints in an hour for 120. Service: Drain cleaning

My boiler suddenly went wrong and the same day I was able to get a call out to determine that the boiler was "dead" and would cost too much to repair vs a new boiler - within 4 days I had the new boiler installed ready in time for my new tenants who were moving in that day. The engineers who attended couldn't have been more helpful, "super efficient" and provided my new tenants all of the information that they needed to run the boiler going forward.
