FAQ

What type of choir do you have and what is the style of music that is typically performed?

We have a traditional Anglican choir that performs both sacred and secular music. The choir is made up of boy choristers and adult male singers called lay vicars.

How often do you rehearse and perform, and what are the expectations for choir members?

We rehearse and perform on a daily basis, with the exception of a few weeks of vacation throughout the year. We expect our choir members to have a strong commitment to music and a willingness to learn and improve their skills.

What is the cost to join the choir and are there any additional fees for performances or materials?

There is no cost to join the choir, as we offer full scholarships to all of our choristers. However, we do ask that families contribute towards the cost of their son's choir uniform. There are no additional fees for performances or materials.

(Translated by Google) This abbey is one of the largest and most impressive in all of northern Europe. Of all the monuments and religious buildings that I have visited, this abbey is the most decorated and ornate of all. With five naves, many mini chapels all presented differently to the spectator on duty! (Original) Questa abbazia e' una delle piu' grandi e imponenti di tutta l'europa del nord.
