Disgusting actions from staff! 2022 and still acceptable for people to be left to die alone! My mum wanted to be with my grandad for he’s last hours, but because it went past your visiting hours she was made to leave. For him then to die alone, unforgivable actions what has this world come too!

My mother was admitted to Westgate house on the 1st of Feb 2021 and hated it there, rude, ignorant and uncaring staff, especially at night, menu not good enough, she died 5 weeks later in pain, because of the uncomfortable beds, she got hardly any sleep, wished I could have got her home sooner!

Westgate is one big happy family there is so much care and love from everyone, there are so many special bonds between care staff and the residents , Nancy is a wonderful manger and is very caring towards her staff , Jackie my unit manger has soo much faith in me she has helped me so much to progress 😃 I recommend Westgate for anyone that wishes their family members to have a home from home experience.
