I've just completed the nine month Swedish Massage course and it's been the most positive, uplifting, at times challenging and life-affirmimg nine months. The course content is excellent - you gain a wealth of knowledge and learn all the skills you need to become a confident massage therapist. Special mention to Lynne and her amazing team of tutors - absolute class... I cannot praise them enough. I've quickly discovered that being "Western trained" opens doors. The schools reputation within the industry is second to none. Highly recommended.

Excellent course to introduce you to all the skills you need to forge a career in massage therapy. Tutors were very supportive and their own successes were an inspiration to all to keep going as a few of us were balancing full time work and other responsibilities whilst undertaking the course. There was a good mix of learning material available depending on your learning style. Thoroughly enjoyed the course.

If you are interested in massage therapy, then this is the place for learning. I travelled a 340 mile round trip for the course weekends and it was absolutely worth it. The tutors are a very special bunch of people and create a classroom climate of positivity. Lynne's conceptual ideas are visionary when it comes to what learning is and how to become the best therapist. While always affirming the students self worth, she delivers with absolute integrity from her heart and soul. All the tutors have a deep inspiring knowledge of all things massage therapy. Lynne has for sure developed a very special learning environment along with the other tutors and excellently thought out course materials. The tutor-student interaction are at the highest level and this increases student motivation, self-confidence and self-esteem. Starting a course with Western School of Massage created a life changing experience for me. I am sure that this will open more doors in the future as part of a holistic journey.

Having just completed my Swedish Massage Diploma with Western School of Massage, I would definitely recommend this course. The tutors were amazing, especially Lynne, who was unfailing in her communication and support throughout. The course content is amazingly detailed and covers not only the practical aspect of massage but the anatomy, physiology and pathology of the human body, giving you an incredible knowledge of the muscles while helping you to understand and treat a client holistically. I have made friends for life in this course and I look forward to seeing them for Sports and Remedial this October. If you are considering a change of career and and an introduction into the wonderful world of massage therapy, this is the school for you!

Just completed a fantastic 2 day advanced remedial workshop for the lumbar spine at the Western School of Massage. Scott Liddell, the lecturer was extremely knowledgeable and a great instructor when it comes to practical work. This workshop has allowed me to look at my own process, re-evaluate it and improve on how I assess and test my clients. It has given me better knowledge on how to use existing skills and techniques I've learned on their Swedish and Sports/Remedial courses and also new techniques to aid in treatments. My thanks also to Michael McCrory, teaching assistant for keeping us right and making it a relaxed and friendly environment to learn in. A great team. I can't wait for the next workshop.
