VERY BAD EXPERIENCE - AVOID. This nursery has taken £39 from us for a bougainvillea that was ordered online. It arrived and was found to be completely different to the one ordered. On contacting the nursery, I was told that my original choice was not available (apparently it was killed by frost 5 months previously) and this was sent instead. My original choice, along with all of the other double flowering versions which are also not available, are still for sale on the website in a choice of 3 different sizes. This seems to be common practice, on reading other reviews, for them to send unwanted replacements and take the customers money. I was told that it was their practice to replace anything unavailable for another bougainvillea - basically the one that came first to hand, regardless of condition, not to tell us that they are doing so, and then take £39 via a PayPal guest account. They say that this practice is in accordance to the terms and conditions on their website - to replace and not refund. Basically, they do not have any terms and conditions on their website and IT IS ILLEGAL NOT TO OFFER A REFUND. They did, after complaining, offer me a refund as if they were doing me a favour, but they are not willing to reimburse my postage, which according to the consumer rights act 2015, they are under obligation to do. This has been a very bad experience, and this review will hopefully make anyone else thinking about ordering from Westdale Nursery to think again. I have begrudgingly given them 1 star as I couldn't give them 0. I have again written to them and will be reporting them to Trading Standards on behalf of myself, and all of the other customers who have been conned out their hard earned cash

Very disappointing ! Had a Bougainville a few years ago as a gift and it was beautiful and lasted well so decided to use Westdale again . Ordered on the 21st April 2022 and sent a email about expected delivery and they replied would be sent week beginning 9th May by courier . Sent a further two emails and still haven't received expected plant or refund . Disgraceful . !

I ordered 4 items but one of the items wasn't delivered. They said that they will refund to me. It has been 2 months and still no feedback. Tried to call, email, also left voice message but NO response at all. You can't take someone's money without delivering the product. It is just insane.

The message is clear from other on line reviews - Do not order from this company. Their practice is to not reply to emails. I bought a plant for £29 and received a cutting. When the plant started to loose the few leaves it had, I inspected it closely to find it was a twig with no roots. Therefore not a plant but a cutting. They replied to my original email telling me that all cuttings were rooted and repotted. This clearly illustrated that I had not been supplied with what they described. All further emails were ignored. Avoid this company.
