Tried to get medication on Friday . Pharmacy was closed. No reason given. It would be helpful for a written note to be displayed informing us why it is closed and when it will reopen to alleviate the stress of knowing a repeat prescription is trapped in your service with the possibility of medications running out.

The ladies working at Westcliff Pharmacy this evening went above and beyond. They worked late past their opening hours to ensure my daughter and another child received the medication needed. The antibiotics initially issued by the GP were out of stock. When the receptionist turned them away from the surgery saying it was closed, they took it upon themselves to make contact with the doctor in order to issue a new prescription. This was truly heartwarming to see how much they cared and felt a sense of duty to ensure the sick children were medicated, without complaining and with smiles on their faces. Outstanding service, true heroes. Very much appreciated.
