WARNING DO NOT TAKE A PRIVATE PRESCRIPTION TO WESTBURYS. On Sunday I visited Westburys chemist with a private prescription for antibiotics and they wanted to charge me £89 for 30 tablets. I refused to pay and asked them why it was so expensive they replied because it’s not a NHS prescription and that’s how much the tablets cost. I visited my local chemist on Monday morning with the same prescription and was charged £10.50.

Just this horrible service and would never ever recommended this place ever. Avoid it if this the last place. 1. Waited over 30 minutes 2. Couldn't find my prescription only to be told it was in their email. Clearly someone not checking their emails. 3. Told another 30 minutes after they found it. Such incompetence should be avoided at all cost. Their licence should be reviewed at all cost

Ripping people off. Bought eye drops for my son's infected eye. got them for £13 which I thought was a bit to much but oh well he needed them. Then checked on others online and guess what, they were almost half the price!!

Thus us now the second time that I have had to go to Westbury fir a prescription and the second time it has not been instock, which is not a big problem but more the attitude of the staff that I now have a problem with. I used to go all the time to get things I needed but now lately I seem to avoid. Everyone has a different experience but it is not getting better with every new experience I have with them.

The chemist it self is good and the staff, but trying to get through to them on the phone is extremely frustrating!! They have you on there for HOURS and then it cuts off! Management clearly need to sort thos out and hire more people to awmser the phones!
