Bowls is something I have been thinking about for a long time but never really did anything about it. My son saw that you were looking for members and I guess I was sort off pushed into coming to your open day. And now I’m hooked and I’m so pleased about that . I just need to get in a lot of practice in. the members that I have met so far are very friendly and after just a few visits I feel like I’m a part of the club. I just hope that I will be able to become a full playing member of the club and that eventually I’ll be able to take part in club competitions at the moment that seems a long way off but who knows? Sorry guys I think you’re stuck with me. Best wishes PB

A small friendly club in a very pleasant location with views across to the Downs. A great club for beginners to the game of bowls , who will receive plenty of coaching and encouragement, as well as the more experienced players.

I have been at the club since 2009, It is a friendly and fun place to play a game of bowls, the members are very helpful and has envolved over the 13 years of playing for this nice club in Maidstone. It continue to welcome new members and I would encourage anyone that want a friendly game that Westborough is good club to join in Kent. :)

This is a wonderful and friendly bowls club, set in beautiful surroundings. I joined the club in 2018 as a total novice and was made to feel very welcome. The experienced members were patient and informative and I quickly began to gain confidence and began playing in "in house" and other friendly matches. The club also has a good social calendar and I have made many new life long friends. If you are looking to join a new bowls club, or wanting to take the sport up for the first time, I can not recommend Westborough too highly !!!!
