I visited West Valley Hospital on 12/05/2023. My experience visiting was great. The team were very polite, friendly, reassuring and kept me informed throughout of my procedure and spoke me through step by step. I was given instructions and a map on how to find the hospital and was warmly welcomed by front desk staff, this put me at ease as i was feeling very anxious. I attended the hospital for steroid injections in my hand. Having suffered with arthritis after an injury two years ago. I was seen by Mr Rhee. He has been my consultant and has been fantastic. This procedure is not pleasant but Mr Rhee did his upmost to ensure I was kept informed, relaxed and comfortable and I knew every step of the procedure. A lovely lady named Salome held my hand and kept me calm throughout. Since having the injections I am finally pain free for the first time in two years and am able to do normal everyday tasks! Thank you Mr Rhee and to all the staff that were so warm, welcoming and kind on the day (Adreienne, Kamaljit Courtney and Salome) Great hospital, very clean and well kept, excellent staff and great patient care.

You would expect a private hospital to be better than NHS but West Valley Hospital is far away from that

Great staff but I was seen by a Doctor Gupta who was a Gastroenterologists. His suggestions for my case I could have found on Google and there seemed very little professionalism. He performed a gastroscopy and this caused more problems after. I would recommend to use someone else and don't come here if looking for a reliable doctor who is genuine and is looking to improve your situation!

I attended West Valley Hospital in West Croydon to see Mr Kunasingam about my bunions. I was pleasantly surprised to find they offered free onsite parking which makes a huge difference in Croydon. I was reminded about my appointment by phone and the member of staff who called me was extremely polite. At my appointment I was seen on time which was great as I had to go back to work. The hospital itself was a hidden gem I really had no idea it was inside an office block. The reception staff were helpful and Mr Kunasingam was extremely professional. He has reassured me about surgery and I feel confident having treatment at West Valley Hospital. Thank you everyone at the hospital .

I visited West Valley Hospital on 07/10/2022. I had a great experience. The administration team were very polite and kept me sufficiently informed from start to finish. I was given clear instructions how to find the hospital and was warmly welcomed in to the hospital by a lovely receptionist called Hannah when I arrived for my appointment which straight away put me at ease. I attended the hospital for steroid injections in my trigger finger and wrists having suffered with arthritis for the last two years. I was seen by Mr Jae Rhee. He was fantastic. A procedure of this nature is not pleasant but Mr Rhee did his best to ensure I was comfortable and calm and knew each step of the procedure. Since having the injections I feel like a new women and wish I had them sooner. I am finally pain free for the first time in two years! I had adapted my life to suit my arthritis and now I can finally do normal everyday task like open a screw top bottle of drink! I can not thank Mr Rhee enough. I highly recommend West Valley Hospital and will definitely be using the hospital again.

Horrible experience!! Don’t recommend to anyone! Went to this clinic to support a friend during an urology appointment. The clinic called the patient asking to come in 2h earlier than originally booked. We arrived earlier, the receptionist was cold and unfriendly. My friend was called in just to wait in another reception room for another 2h without ever knowing when she would go in. I go and politely ask the receptionist how long it would take; without checking anything with arrogance as if I was bothering her she tells me the surgery would last 4h. I immediately panic as my friend did not go in for any surgery. so at this stage I have to insist for the receptionist to check on the system; she calls someone who tells her it would take another 30mins. She did not apologise or seemed slightly embarrassed by the appointment confusion and creating that much panic. Very unprepared staff, zero empathy for the situation. Not the type of place that makes you feel welcomed. The report from my friend on the urology department was that terrible care was provided all throughout it. Procedures were unnecessarily painful and too much exposure of the patient with too many people in the theatre.

This is a private hospital, yet apparently there's nobody available to answer the phone, even for a new, fee-paying patient! Not a great way to run a business and very off-putting. Doesn't bode well if you need to contact them regarding any urgent issues. It's really put me off using their services, terrible first impression. Four days later and they still haven't replied to my voicemail...

I have had a foot surgery today morning with Mr Kunasingam. I would like to say to him a big thank you! He is brilliant, professional and supportive doctor, surgeon and human. From entry to the hospital, through waiting area on the9th floor, through a whole day I have been "baby seated" by an Amazing Woman, Nurse - Adreen Mckew. I have no words how super woman she is! She is not only professional, but also very kind, supportive and she also looks amazing (her hair, nails like a model) it is ince to be looked after by person like that. Thank you! Big thank you to all other doctors and nurses, you have been all amazing and supportive. Love the place, modern, clean and comfy. Thank you, Obrigado, Grazie, Dziekuje. :)

I had been suffering with dry eyes for many years and thought I would just have to accept it and continue with drops and gels on a daily basis. I decided I had to take control of this condition which hundreds of people have. I made an appointment to see Mr Saj Khan at West Valley Hospital Croydon. My experience from the very first appointment reassured me I had made the right decision. Staff were exceptional and Mr Khan examined my eyes thoroughly and set out a treatment plan - something I had never been offered despite the years and tears! of suffering. Mr Khan was professional and knowledgeable in every aspect - not only using medical terms but explaining them in a language I can understand. Thank you.
