I contacted West Riding after reading about its founder Neil Liversidge in the quality press - the Guardian and the London Evening Standard. I'd also seen him being interviewed on BBC news about the LCF scandal. It was Mr Liversidge who blew the whistle to the Financial Conduct Authority about LCF in November 215, a full four years before it was closed down. Mr Liversidge and all his staff could not have been more helpful. West Riding Personal Financial Solutions Ltd is a great firm to deal with and I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for that in which it specialises - honest advice in plain English. It is worth noting that West Riding has some negative Google reviews on here. Being a journalist myself, I have investigated all of them. None of the supposed 'local guides' have ever dealt with the firm and at least one is a completely fake profile. Another appears to live in the Philippines, whereas West Riding only deals with UK residents. These reviews are clearly an organised hate campaign run by Bitcoin fans in response to the well-thought-out articles Mr Liversidge has written that are critical of Bitcoin, and his petition to have Bitcoin transactions effectively banned by UK financial institutions for the protection of the unwary public. It speaks well of Mr Liversidge that he is willing to stick his neck out on Bitcoin just as he did on LCF, and I have no doubt that once again he will be proved correct and to have had great foresight.
