My problems started 2019. It's now 2023 and you guessed it, no nearer my problems being resolved. Because 40 years of being an amputee isn't enough to trump an able-bodied person righting a leaflet on my problems. 4 years of pain and discomfort able-bodied people would simply give up life from. If anyone can help 🙏 I need it.

My experience with the west midlands rehabilitation centre has been abysmal. I have first been referred to them back in 2021 and have struggled to get an appointment until November. I've previously been taken care of by the oxford orthotics clinic, and have never had any problems getting appointments or work done on my leg. I have now outgrown my leg, and have several issues with my it, including a fragile knee and components that I have to tape myself every other day as they keep breaking apart. Every appointment is months apart, for which I have to keep chasing them and calling for available dates. They always state 'we will call you back' but never do. I feel like my case keeps getting pushed out of the way, and hearing many difference excuses over the phone. After almost 2 years of this back and forth, I thought we were moving forward as I have finally been trying the new prosthetic in the rehab centre. After this visit, they said they will be in touch but been radio silent for the last 2 months. I finally decided to call them again to chase up on the appointment, only to be informed by the receptionist that my doctor is no longer seeing me. This has absolutely ruined me and my mental health, 2 years of this awful process for nothing. Absolutely appalling service from this center.

My mom visited this clinic over four weeks ago and was promised that a letter would be sent to her doctor for medication for the low blood pressure she experiences when she tries to stand. Our doctor has still not heard anything from them. I have since tried to contact the clinic by phone and been given four different numbers but they are either continually engaged or goes to voicemail or the number i'd been given was incorrect. Does anybody care anymore?

Visited here for the first time with my husband due to decline in his disability. Felt safe with covid precautions in place. Staff were friendly, respectful, helpful & more knowledgeable than other experts we've dealt with in the past Only wish he'd been referred here before.

As far as hospitals go, this is a really great one. Friendly staff, runs on time (in my experience) and free car park.

My Son has been coming here for the last 19 years and all the staff are excellent, kind and helpful. I would never send him anywhere else and would always highly recommend this place.

What a fantastic service, I had my first visit yesterday due to a below knee amputation. All the services I needed were in one place, the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and I got more help and support in one day than I have from the Q E in 5 weeks whose after care has been appalling. Well done, very impressed and thank you.
