I had an ambulance crew turn up after I phoned NHS 111, even though it was clear I did not need one, then the paramedics got angry with me, even though I never called them. Paramedics make such a big deal of wanting patients to treat them with respect, and yet paradoxically they themselves treated me with indifference and antagonism, and not for the first time. If medics want respect, they could try actually showing some themselves, otherwise they just look like clowns.

Unfortunately I was taken poorly when visiting my daughter on Lichfield road Wolverhampton on Sunday 3rd June 18. I have COPD and its a very a frightening experience when it takes hold. I don't remember much except the paramedics that attended were from Lichfield station they were very reassuring and very patient with me they calmed me and made me feel in safe hands they were a team of three a gentleman and 2 young ladies I remember one had very pretty hair. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all three of them very much from me and my family. Keep up the good work we all appreciate you THANK YOU

Following RTC on Sat 24/06/17 Swan Rd /Lower Sandford St, Lichfield, appx.1pm. Paramedics, Mike, Sarah & Beckie transported me to QEH Birmingham. All gave much appreciated assistance, not only medically, but reassurance too. They then came back to check how I was after the team at the Hospital had concluded their first diagnosis of me. I had a broken sternum, and two ribs plus torn ligament to knee and later discovered broken bone in had, plus server bruising. Am now on road to recovery although still somewhat uncomfortable. Hope this message gets passed on to those relevant.THANK YOU ALL. NHS is wonderful long may it continue. Kind regards Sylvia Murray
