On the 9th January 2023, I had cause to call for an ambulance. I am pleased to say it arrived within 5 minutes. Gary Preston and Fay Wilson attended as the paramedics (ambulance No. EN4075). I can not thank them enough for their care towards myself and my husband for their professionalism and excellent care give. They took me to the QE and ensured that I reached the correct department within 5 minutes of arrival. I would also like to thank the QE and the ward that was run by paramedics. From the time of arrival to leaving was 3 hours and they had completed a full review of me and CT Scan. I would also like to thank the lady (who I unfortunately didn't get her name) at the call centre was extremely caring and helpful in supporting my husband who had rang on my behalf. We are very lucky to have such an amazing NHS thank you again.

From my experience over the years every single paramedic and ambulance crew have been fantastic! They are calm, sensible, knowledgeable and understanding. This is unfortunately in stark contrast with a lot of nurses and HCAs within the NHS. Due to my elderly mother's recent admission with a broken hip, I have witnessed prolonged arguing amongst staff in A&E, an uncaring manner, and downright manhandling of patients. They appear to be lacking in communication skills and have a couldn't care less attitude. There are obviously exceptions. I understand a lot of this is down to pressure of work and Government and management induced procedures/cuts. Our paramedics are the true stars of the NHS. Thank you to all of you who helped us 🌈 recently and in the past.

I'm not sure if the ambulance came from Erdington but I think it did . The ambulance was called on Tuesday evening to my Grand daughter Aimee Parker at approx 6pm address 411 Chester road B36 0JH I would like to thank the two paramedics they were so helpful and kind calling both the hospital and our Doctor the care we received was excellent and I'm pleased to say Aimee is feeling a lot better I have forgotten their names but they both deserve a medal for the service given thankyou again Dot Parker
