I ordered a part on the 2nd November and was told it would take a week to arrive and that they would phone me. They did not. I followed up with another call about 2 weeks later - I was told that the parts person would ring me back - he did not. I then went thro' his boss and was told that the parts person would ring me back - he has not done so. It has now been 23 days since my order. I thus went to another dealer - all sorted within 24 hours, no problems. The tragedy for the original dealer is that I have lost trust/faith in it and thus the car that I also wanted to buy has also been purchased from the alternative dealer. Further I would not dream of getting my [new] car serviced at West London Suzuki now. Terrible customer service from their parts department which has had expensive ramifications for their sales and service depts. In a nutshell, there are other Suzuki dealers not that far away from West London, I would encourage you to go to them. ++ This follow-up has been added some 7 hours after the above review was posted ++ I have now received a phone call from the Parts person who apparently was instructed to ring me by the Senior Management Team. Understandably he wanted to investigate what had happened. After investigation, it appears that human error is to blame and I have received a full and frank apology. I am also due to receive a refund on the cost of the part tomorrow. Sadly though, the damage has been done. Of course I accept the apology although certain issues which I suggest the franchise needs to address. 1) I do not understand why I was originally told that the part would take a week when the alternative dealer told me it would take 24 hours to obtain the part (and he was correct). 2) I spoke with the Salesman (with whom I had discussed the new car) and also the Parts/Service manager who both told me that they would leave messages for the parts person to ring me. The parts person tells me that he never received those messages so there maybe communication issues. Anyway, this matter is now closed for me. Time to learn from what happened and move on .....
