My daughter has been attending WLSD since 2011 and until now looks forward to going to her classes every weekend. One of the beautiful dance teacher has been such a positive influence and is also a major factor as to why my daughter looks forward to attending every week. What a breath of fresh air and positivity she is and what she emanates reflects on the children in her classes. My daughter and her friends always come out of their class smiling, happy and looking forward to the next week.

An amazing experience for all (from ages 2-16). Every year there is the Nutcracker which everyone gets a part in no matter what age. The teachers are lovely and experienced. WLSD taught me how to dance and I am extremely grateful. It’s just perfect! Thank you very much WLSD!!!!! Olivia D 😎🦄😜🐶😂

Without any hesitation I would recommend West London school of Dance. The teachers are excellent and they include everyone regardless of their background. They are encouraging to their students and always teach with injury prevention in mind. They are highly skilled and get the best out of their students be it to build confidence, sociability, performance or dance/ballet technique. If you want to learn to dance for fun or more seriously, I can think of no better or safer hands than WLSD. An amazing school. UPDATE I am certainly not the same person as the other reviewers as Life Reportage suggests. My comments are honest and truthful. If you would like to see the quality of dancing and the excitement of the dancers then see for yourself at the WLSD Nutcracker Performance at the Shaftesbury Theatre this December. It is a great Ballet School.

Very disappointed with this school. They clearly discriminate children for their appearance: if they don’t have that perfect look and are slightly overweight, they push them away and in some cases they clearly discourage them to partecipate to the end of year performance, saying that: “the costumes might not fit her well”. I personally know a girl who was given a tiny part for years in a row, simply because she didn’t look like a skinny model. Furthermore, once they have taken your money and they have no more business with you, they will ignore any and every email you send them. At the end of year performance, they force-sold all students a cheap 50p Ikea blue bag for £2, saying that they wouldn’t allow any other type of bag behind the stage, so no choice. They invited all of the parents to the school the day before the performance, officially to get “essential” information about the performance and when they were all there, it turned out that the only reason was to pay for the Ikea bags. You will say that £2 is not much, but it’s the attitude, the way they cheat you into it and by the way, for them it’s a quick way of making £300 in cash and tax free. What a cheap and disgusting way of treating children and their hardworking parents! UPDATE: At the time of writing this update, I noticed that the only four 5 star reviews appeared all the very same day and they were from four “different” people, who only ever wrote a single review, one of them 2... this one. It’s clearly the same person, who opened four different profiles, with the sole purpose of writing this single 5 star review, in order to boast up the very low rating of this school. A clear conflict of interest. This will undoubtedly change, once this person reads this update and will try to camouflage herself.

Quite simply a fantastic school. Not only are the classes at the very top end of ballet application and teaching but the yearly performance opportunities this school provides really are exceptional. The semi-professional productions are put on with such care, dedication and creative talent making it THE school in London to go to. The nuture and passion the teachers in-still in our children creates excellence, a love of dance and creativity which will last their entire lives.
