Praising the staff and GP at the surgery this morning. After a phone consultation my son was invited to the surgery for an assessment by the GP and was prescribed antibiotics. I phoned at 8am for an appointment and walked out of the surgery with my son at 9.20am having seen the GP and received antibiotics. A fantastic service during difficult times. Thank you.

I have found the receptionist here to be extremely rude and unhelpful and today I spent 45 minutes waiting to get through only to be cut off when it was my turn. A very frustrating and unpleasant experience. Dr. Davies however I have found to be very helpful and efficient.

More than one week I cannot take appointment to review my mom results! Every day there is a different reason. I have been told to call after 3pm and I called many times with zero result. I went to reception desk to ask to give me as soon as possible opportunity to speak to the doctor and the story was the same. I hope somebody will read this comment and will take an action asap as it is really painful to see every day how your mom suffers from pain and nobody cares.

I normally attend West Horndon surgery but I was seen by Dr Amanda Davies at the Peartree surgery on Tuesday 21st of December as I was going away on holiday and she arranged for me to have a urgent referral the letter came the next day to make the appointment to be seen by a consultant at Basildon hospital which I then saw on Thursday and could go away on holiday with peace of mind. Many thanks to Dr Amanda Davies

For over a month now I have been trying to get a medication review. On the odd occasion when I have managed to through told to ring back at 2pm. At 8am and 2pm I am at work and cannot be sitting on hold forever, this is ridiculous. Can’t get an appointment online either. Also for a number of years they have asked to correct the spelling of my name which is still not done and as due to start traveling again for work will cause me major problems. If I could give a minus review that’s what it would be.

I have to say I keep seeing all the negative reports about this surgery. All through the pandemic I have been able to get treatment. I understand how frustrated some people are not being able to see a GP face to face. But we actually do not always need to see one face to face . I have just spoken to the Dr for my dad as his has a very bad knee. He is being sent for xrays blood tests and given pain killers till the xray results are viewed. He would have made a journey to be told the same thing so now he doesn't have to go out more than necessary. I have found nothing but brilliant service with this GPS yes its a bit difficult to get through sometime but that's the same anywhere. People think if you don't actually get through the door you are not getting good service i think this allows the GPS to actually see those that really need to be seen and deal with others on the phone. Well done West Horndon.

i took all of my paperwork and ID down to this surgery after moving house a few months ago. They said they would be in touch in a couple of weeks once my details were uploaded onto the system. I have since called back around 10 times, 8 times I couldn't even get them to answer the phone and waited 30 mins each time. The 2 times I did speak to them they assured me they would find out the problem and get my details uploaded so I could book an appointment. I am still yet to hear from them so I have joined another doctors surgery.

Awful Surgery. I understand we are in a pandemic and staffing is extremely low. However, my mums husband has been waiting over 7 weeks for some tests results back which he was due to have a face to face appointment for. Still no contact from the surgery, absolutely unacceptable, will now be contacting NHS England!
