We were really looking forward to our stay, but with nearly 4 weeks to go we had to cancel our whole holiday. I have to admit I didn't look too closely at the terms and conditions, but no refunds means we won't be risking coming here again. If you're planning to stay, whatever you do, don't cancel. The emails from the owners are very much 'I told you so' so not impressed there either. It sounds like a case of they win, you lose whatever happens.

The site is basic in terms of amenities and the showers cost 50p for 4 minutes but the location and views are incredible. The owner was helpful, the facilities were clean and the welcome was friendly. If you want to hear Manx Shearwater calling at night and watch swallows, linnets and whitethroat feeding all over the site as you relax looking over the sea and Skomer Island, this is definitely the place to stay. Stunning and very relaxed, quiet site.

Loved it - simple and quiet with a gate onto the coastal path. Very close to the harbour where the boats trips leave - if you are going to Skomer then is the best place to stay

A O Lets Go
There’s no hook up here at all but they can charge your phones etc for £1 an item. The showers are 50p each but they gave us change. The showers were ok, warm but breezy as gap under the doors. Still needs more hooks like every campsite. The pitches are mostly slopped so choose wisely. Great place for sunset and sunrise and they let us do one night over the bank holiday

Absolutely amazing stay at West Hook! Location was perfect for Skomer Island to see the puffins, facilities exceeded our expectations for the price paid! £44 for 2 nights, 2 people car and tent pitch. The owner had reserved us the most perfect pitch sheltered by bushes either side and a perfect view out onto the bay! An unexpected surprise! Showers hot and powerful, toilets clean, daily visit by the ice cream man whatever the weather! Will most definitely be back!! Thank you!
