I wish to thank all those who attended my wife this morning (19th May 2023) after I phoned 999 when I couldn’t wake my wife up and her breathing was very laboured and noisy. The first ambulance - one of three - arrived so quickly that I was still on the phone to the emergency responder when they rang the front door bell. One couldn’t expect any better. The paramedics were all efficient, caring and utterly professional. They spent a considerable time assessing my wife, reviving her and deciding that, thankfully, she did not need to be taken to hospital. They also contacted our GP practice to appraise them of the situation. Thanks again for all the help and reassurance at a distressing time - I cannot praise the paramedics enough. Keith Redway.

Early in the morning of Tues. 12th Jan I called an ambulance to see to my husband who had collapsed twice vomiting and said it was only the food he had eaten. As soon as the paramedics arrived and carried out a check, they diagnosed heart block, carried him to the ambulance where they put him on a drip and quickly got him to Watford Hospital, where the staff had been alerted and were waiting at the door. After speedy appropriate treatment and various checks he was discharged the next day, and the great actions of the ambulance crew helped save his life. Many thanks.
