Its a long time since I last stopped there and with sufficient time before catching a train I loaded up with cholesterol/heart attack on a bun. OK, it was called a breakfast roll with 2 rashers, a sausage and an egg. Its simply just nice to wander around these markets and see what is on offer beyond the high street. Overall it was pretty good with the expected variety of stalls. I do wonder how many of the vendors are the actual growers/producers of the organic produce on offer but, as I've already stated, it's great to see the stuff and have a choice of things that appears more genuine than supermarket fodder. May 2023 Seems as if a few new vendors are here. The important thing is that there is plenty of choice and great products on sale here. One or two of the suppliers are relatively close to where my partner has her home/farm/smallholding so we might pay them a visit in person.

An incredible little market right outside west Hempstead Thameslink station. A huge range of independent brands selling a range of foods, from organic vegetables and purple carrots, to cheeses, to tomatoes and pastes, welsh sparkling wine, eggs and so much more. A great opportunity to grab a treat and support local and independent farmers. Highly recommend. Open until 2pm every Saturday
