Played here Friday 12th May. Come down from Norfolk and myself and 2 friends had the most fantastic day Hadn't played this course in 20 yrs but it was still as superb today as it was then The greens were fast but true the fairways were cut to precision the staff in the pro shop was very welcoming and friendly Cannot fault this course and can't wait to go back Hopefully in a competition in August that they are holding Thanku for such a enjoyable day Rob Burnell

Took 12 of us to the course it was in superb condition the courses facilities are excellent from the trackman range to the multiple chipping and putting greens and the course played excellent The views around all of London from certain holes are a added bonus Highly recommend

I held a service development day at west Essex golf club. Perfect location as colleagues were coming from all around the south east. Near to M25 and M11; also great access to london train network 5 minutes away. Great facilities, buffet and all we needed for the day. All the team loved it. Would highly recommend.

I enjoyed a very pleasant late afternoon round at West Essex last Monday. It was a bit of a last minute decision so arrived a few minutes before my tee time which was a shame as the practice facilities looked fantastic but I didn't have enough time to try them out properly. Nevertheless I set out after a few practice putts to get an idea of the speed of the greens. Its quite a hilly course and the elevation on several of the holes really adds drama to and already well laid out course. There are some tight fairways which forces you to think on club selection off the tee. Condition was great, the greens were very quick and testing definitely a course that I will return to play.
