Played here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Everyone I met was really friendly and helpful. I did got lost a couple of times and played the 16th instead of the 11th at one point. Thankfully the layout is such that I could play the 11th later before the 17th and 18th without a problem. The course was in good nick, especially the greens. The par 3s are all really exciting holes and the greens on the par 5s are makeable in 3 shots even for a short hitter like me. It's a great course for a new golfer or high handicapper and bad shots are not punished massively severely. I went round without losing any balls which was a first for me! Some really interesting holes and an absolute bargain on the winter green fees. I'll definitely be back.
