We can accommodate different religious and cultural traditions, as well as personal requests such as playing a favorite song or displaying photos of the deceased. We work closely with families to ensure the service is a meaningful tribute to their loved one. What is the timeline for completing the cremation process?
The timeline can vary depending on factors such as paperwork processing and availability of the crematorium. However, we typically complete the cremation process within five working days of receiving all the necessary documentation and fees. Thank you for the beautiful thing you did today for Mothers Day. The carnations and heart were such a lovely gesture. I always feel at ease when I come to visit my mum & dad. I can cry or sit and chat to them and just feel that no one is watching or judging you. This really is a Heavenly place. Thank you.

A new crematorium with a single hall seating 100 people and place to stand at the back. There is plenty of parking with five disabled spaces. The paths are gentle and suitable for wheel chair access. There are two single unisex toilets suitable for wheelchair access. These are reasonably well maintained, but they could be better laid out and fitted out. There are extensive gardens and areas for reflection. Possibly there is also a graveyard further to the rear with gravestones, however i did not have the opportunity to investigate. I would recommend this as an excellent venue.

The West Berkshire Crematorium is relatively a new site situated east of the town called Thatcham. You enter the site from roundabout and take a pleasant drive to the carlark which there two passing the blossom trees as you arrive. Developed ten years ago it has now become a very popular resting place. You will be offered a choice of interest from having a tree planted, name plaque on a wall or garden for ashes to be placed. We have chosen the garden plot which we have purchased on a 20 year period. Its simply an amazing area to visit past family members with benches allocated around the site to rest and take in the peace. The Chapel which is close by has a reception office to enquire about cost and information one would need to know.

As you enter there is a large car park and a beautiful building and grounds to walk through or sit and reflect in. The waiting room is a little small. The interior is modern, bright and clean with lots of room.
