The hospital is easy to find. Confusing no entry signs to car park. Pay on exit. The radiology department is not well ventilated. There is a physiotherapy reception opposite the radiology reception. Unprofessional and racial remarks could be overheard from the physiotherapy reception. If you have nothing good to say then please keep your mouth shut. Radiology desk does not have a take a ticket system so there is a complete disregard of queues. No one remembers who came in when, when 20 people are waiting. However, I was in and out well before my appointment time. The radiologist was friendly and professional.

Please be aware that the minor injuries unit here is appointments only! It doesn’t say this anywhere on their website so I went in (with a suspected broken knee). The lady behind the counter was rude and seemed to not want to give me an appointment. The first one they had was in three hours so I decided to wait (as I was in no fit state to drive anywhere else). After about an hour, I heard the lady behind the counter telling another patient (with a cut on their finger) that they had had a cancellation so she could go in immediately. I asked why I wasn’t being offered the appointment and she just shrugged. Had to wait another two hours before I was seen by a nurse. The X-ray department was excellent but I would avoid the minor injuries unit if you can.

Really impressed with the care I received this evening in the minor injuries unit. My GP wasn't able to see me after I received a nasty cat bite so recommended the MIU. The lady I spoke to on the phone was lovely and booked me in after work. Reception was very welcoming and I was seen promptly by a doctor (I believe her name was Holly) who was absolutely lovely and very efficient. I received antibiotics and a tetanus shot and was out within half an hour. Thank you so much everyone involved! (My only suggestion might be to improve signs to the MIU - possibly me being daft but did struggle to find it!)

Went to see a doctor as recommended by 111. At a booked slot Cannot believe it. Went there and not a doctor in the building at 18.00 per my appointment. Nurse saw me and misdiagnosed wrongly. And couldn't prescribe any Medication without a doctor in the building. Had to resort to knocking on my neighbours house who is a GP to ask for a favour. His review indicated something entirely different to the nurse. NHS is collapsing. How can it be the case that not a single doctor is in the building. I don't blame the NHS I blame the bloody Tories. They have DESTROYED it. Left empty handed and wasted my time. NHS there's no point seeing patients if you don't have any doctors. That will just lead the patients to rebook and cost more money. Get it right first time % screening right and you will see less follow ups
