Highly recommend wessex. My 2 children go weekly. My daughter has Gordon who has brought my daughter on as a much more confident and independent swimmer. My 7 year son who has special needs has Sam. Ben adores Sam and despite having separation anxiety will happily skip off for half an hour with him! Denise has also been really understanding and supportive with Ben and helps transition him well from us to Sam and let's us know if he isn't there and supports Ben when he is unsure Both of my children have come on amazingly well with wessex. Highly recommended

My daughter started Wessex swim school at the kings worthy school last night and absolutely loved it! She was very nervous at first but her instructor Abi soon put her at ease and was amazing with her.

My children really struggled with a previous swim school as the class sizes were quite large. At Wessex Swim they have improved in leaps and bounds as the team have time to dedicate to children due to the class sizes being so small. The confidence my children have in the water has grown and they thoroughly enjoy swimming now.

Learning to swim as an adult can be a daunting and challenging task! However, from my first lesson, I was out at ease, motivated and given the confidence to believe that I could master this. Unfortunately the teacher we started the course with had to go on sick leave and there were a few weeks where we had various teachers which is why I can't award a 5 star rating. This was very unsatisfactory as the momentum was broken, the teachers through no fault of theirs did not know us so progress was very slow. However, the great news is that we now have a tremendous teacher, Jeff who is inspirational in his teaching abilities. He makes very second count, fun and productive. He is totally hands on , with us in the water and giving each one of us individual help and instruction. He motivates, encourages, instructs and supports every stroke of the way. I may develop fins yet!
