Great choir! I thought a choir was just a group of retirees, but The Wessex have a good age range and a great warm sound. Good choice of songs and the Oliver set is very entertaining! Recommend seeing them in person to hear just how good they are!

This is an unusually good choir with members who not only sing choral pieces but in their spare time play blues, rock, R&B and hip hop. Or should that be Hip op!

Probably one of the best things I ever did in my life was joining The Wessex nine years ago. Never would I have thought that I would be travelling to different countries with such an amazing choir and more than often winning elite choral competitions. They are now part of my extended family and I couldn’t imagine life without them !!

I joined in 2014 and have had 5 great years and sang in some fantastic places. On top of mountains in Italy, in a cathedral down a salt mine in Poland, Wembley stadium, Llandaff cathedral, Truro cathedral to name but a few. Join us at Abbey Meads church on any Tuesday evening to find out more. We sing well and we enjoy ourselves.
