Having been badly let down by John lewis, we decided to go local and what a joy that has been ! Wessex Carpets have been beyond amazing, we cannot praise them highly enough . We have used Wessex carpets for over 10 years but will not use again. Their customer service has been non existent and we are for ever chasing about when our carpet will be fitted - waiting over 2 weeks and nothing not even we cannot do it yet! They are more expensive compared to other suppliers in Blandford but we used them as we wanted to shop locally with suppliers whom we knew. Big mistake. Be warned if you are considering to use.

Great service from start to finish. Alan bought over some carpet samples and measured up, gave us sound advice on the carpet to choose. He was extremely courteous and polite. I rang to prompt for the quote which wasn’t a problem, I was just eager to get on with the job! Simon, the fitter was really great, very hard working. He was with us 6 hours and didn’t stop for a break all day in what were very hot weather conditions. Thank you all.

Alan and his team have fitted out our whole house with both carpet and hard flooring. Old school service - he will come to you with samples and will strive endlessly to make sure you get exactly what you want at a very reasonable price. Wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Please don't let the review below put anyone off. I have been using this shop for 18 years and have recommended it to lots of others who are equally happy. The guys go the extra mile to be helpful so you can get exactly what you want. Nothing is too much trouble. They are reliable and the work is always completed to a high standard. I wouldn't go anywhere else. You cannot stay in business for as long as this guy has unless you are good. In a small town like Blandford people soon rumble you if your product is not up to spec.
