I was having an allergic reaction to a new medication i was told by a doctor to call if I had any symptoms which I tried to do the receptionist I spoke to was so so rude told me to go to a&e before me even getting to explain the reason behind it. She spoke so loud and basically told me there was nothing she could do.she then put phone down. I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks and this really upset me. I felt as though i didn't matter and when you suffer with depression and someone makes you feel that way it's not good enough I think the surgery needs to do something about this. More training is needed especially on how to communicate with others and to be more aware of other people's feelings It will put me off contacting them again when I'm going through a tough time as it is Really NOT impressed Empathy goes a long way

Enter the phone call bunfight twice a day, in the morning and at 2pm in the afternoon. This is for initial reception to take your basic details and your symptoms. They will book someone to call you back at some undetermined point that day. The call back will then ask you all the same questions and aks about your symptoms, before taking you through a pre-determined, computer checklist. Once this is done, you will be put forward for a health practitioner to call you back to discuss your symptoms for a third time, again at an undetermined time. They will then decide whether you need to make an appointment after making an educated guess about your condition, based on your answers over the phone. You will then enter the lottery of when they have availability. It's a great system that encourages people to call 111 who will send you to the hospital, or for people to change their doctors and get them off their books.

I just want to say thank you in particular to the tall, Irish receptionist with glasses (I’m afraid I don’t know her name). She is always smiling and compassionate and most importantly knows what she is doing. I know that GP services are INCREDIBLY stretched at the moment but as someone with multiple health issues I’ve actually found it easier to get an appointment recently. Maybe they aren’t all face to face (or even with a GP) but I don’t mind telephone or video call appointments as long as I can actually GET an appointment with someone with the skills and ability to help me. In addition the move to the Prescription Ordering Service has taken the stress out of prescriptions and I would like to thank the nurse practitioners and Jurate for their skill and kindness. Thank you.

Very very rude receptionist who mocked my elderly mother for not understanding English. They don’t take you seriously at all not to mention the specific receptionist who should most defiantly be fired.

If I could give 0 I would. This gp surgery seems to never have appointments. Apparently you have to be dying to get an appointment with anyone face to face. My problem is not urgent enought to get a face to face appointment but they can offer me one in a months time. If I’m calling you on the day that means I need to see a gp on THAT day not in a months time. RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!! WORST GP SURGERY I COME ACROSS.
