Called to pick up a prescription from the chemist to discover the doctor hadn’t sent my prescription to the chemist. Spoke to a receptionist at the doctors, not helpful. I couldn’t do it on the app as it wasn’t a repeat prescription. The lady in the chemist gave me a number to ring for an emergency prescription. Was told by them it was done and a doctor needs to sign it off it will be ready in a few hours, called back 5 hours later to find no prescription has been signed and still no help from the receptionist. So left with no medication!

On Monday 22nd. I had a message to contact the surgery about my BP Medication. So I attended in the morning..I was told by the receptionist that I couldn’t have an appointment then, To come back in the afternoon at 2 o’clock and I could have one then.. which I did. Getting there before the said time. Only to be told that I couldn’t have the appointment. I reminded her that I have a serious heart condition.Her response me you was. That it might be urgent in my head. And that it wasn’t urgent in hers. I never mentioned the word urgent they were her words not mine. I’m a retired nursing/ Sister. And I know when I need to see a Doctor.

Yesterday I called the surgery and I spoke to a delightful lady who helped me tremendously. She went above and beyond to get the assistance I required. The Doctor however did not have that much to say.......otherwise I would have given 5 stars

After contacting the surgery a number of times and not being able to get an appointment and I must admit getting quite frustrated. I managed to get through today and spoke to a very nice lady who was very helpful, (I have a very, very painful frozen shoulder hindering just about everything I do, I've had it before but not this bad.) I am now booked in for the physio on Monday and will take it from there, fingers crossed this helps! I am doing the review as I know the receptionists bear the brunt of our anger a lot of the time at not being able to get an appointment.
