2 new hips. Both hospital stays and procedures (3 months apart) went perfectly smoothly. Fast rehabilitation and I’m already playing Golf again and motorcycling. In retrospect, after years of pain, I should have had them done sooner. I’m a 100% happy customer!

From Consultation through to procedure and post operative review, Mr Campbell was excellent. He explained exactly what would happen at the Consultation. I was met by him on morning of procedure, where he was very reassuring and explained again and asked for any concerns that I might have. The whole experience was calm, you will be in good and safe hands with Mr Campbell and his team.

Mr Campbells first words to me when he saw me walk were You look like a man that needs a new hip. I was in constant pain in the need of 8 co-codomal daily. A few weeks later Mr Campbell performed surgery and gave me a new hip. I am now like a new man no pain, no sticks and no co- codomol. What a pleasure to meet Mr Campbell and his team, everyone was so supportive and helpful. Thank you Mr Campbell you have given me my life back, I cannot praise you enough. Regards Martin Platt

I have had limited ability to move around and be indipendant for over 6 years, due to needing a new hip. Mr Peter Campbell gave me a full hip replacement. He was amazing from beginning to end, he made me at ease before my surgery and took time to talk to me at length after the surgery. He is a very kind understanding man, who genuinely cares about his patients. I now have my indipendence back and am enjoying being pain free, thanks to Mr Campbell and his amazing team. Everyone who dealt with me were all wonderful. I can not praise them enough.

Received a bi-lateral hip replacement in Feb 22 and really could not be happier with the whole experience. Firstly the service received from Mr Campbell was first class. I was fully informed and consulted about what was going to happen, and why, and given plenty of opportunity to answer questions. The operation happened exactly on time and again I was kept updated throughout as to what was going on, what would happen next etc. The results of the operation were spectacular. I was very positive and determined to be back on my feet as soon as possible, but even I was amazed at how quick that happened. After 1 day I was on sticks, walking down a corridor and up and down some steps. I was home a day and a half after the op and was able to ditch the walking sticks after 5 days. My first physio op was 10 days after the op, and I was doing squats at that time with the physio. Everyday, I was achieving something new and have not had any pain at all throughout the whole experience. I can't thank Mr Campbell enough for his skill and experience. He made an op that I was a little wary of, very easy and pain free. It is no exaggeration to say the op has given me my life back. It was hard to believe I would be pain free after years of extreme acute pain in every aspect of my life, but that is exactly what happened. Thank you Mr Campbell.

After struggling with pain for a number of months I was referred to Peter Campbell. My first consultation diagnosed osteoarthritis in my hip but I was very impressed with his holistic approach and that he spent time explaining non surgical approaches and how to remain active. When I decided to go ahead with the hip replacement operation once again I never felt rushed and it was very much my decision and timescale. The operation itself was a great success and the good advice beforehand helped me to make a quick recovery. My 6 week post-op review answered all my questions regarding when I could restart various activities. I’d highly recommend Peter Campbell without hesitation and I’m enjoying getting back to normal.

What a very reassuring experience I had with this fabulous surgeon Mr Campbell. I needed a total knee replacement and went for surgery at The Nuffield in York under Mr Campbell. The surgery was very swift and showed great care and answered any queries I had. I had an epidural, went into theatre and approximately 1 hour 5 minutes later was in recovery feeling great. The surgeon visited after I returned to the ward and reassured everything went well. If you are nervous of this operation, then all I can say is please don't be. There is nothing to be wary of and the aftercare from Mr Campbell and the whole team was exceptional. Just need the other one doing now. Regards to all John Dixon
