Well what a mistake that was, thought we'd try this Chinese out, the curry sauce was like wall paper paste just very weird texture and tasteless, special fried rice wasn't special at all, chicken n beef not nice taste or texture, sweet n sour yuk way too sweet! So foul chucked the whole lot in the bin! Waste of £26..☹

Thought i would give this shop a try, big mistake 26 quids worth of utter junk, curry sauce like wall paper paste with next to no curry flavour, prawns and meat very poorly prepared and cooked, wont be back to this one, i should have guessed by the grubby shop appearance

Well let me start by saying a young girl knocking on my door with my food isn't the best first impression, but it's a taste of what's to come. After spending £36 you expect a half decent takeaway but that was too much to ask for. The egg fried rice was bland at the most, and the chicken balls were 90% Greasey batter, and 10% chicken. In addition there was a random onion ring with our chicken balls ... The bbq ribs were extremely overcooked making it practically impossible to eat and the chicken chow mein was not right. Almost certainly been reheated a cooked in a microwave. Neither myself nor my partner finished our food, and I was disappointed to find hiding under a layer of shredded duck was a massive bone taking up a good 30 to 40% of the tub, meaning the actual amount of duck to tub ratio was very low. The only fairly standard part of our meal was the cucumber for the duck wraps but even that was as fresh and crispy as you'd expect. Not for us, and certainly won't be ordering again. Although we did receive a free bag of spring rolls! But that excitement was let down seconds later by their disgusting mushy insides that made them feel like I was biting into some type of insect. ( after seeing the state of the front of the shop, I'd be surprised if you don't close in the next year or so )

Very disappointed speedy delivery but unfortunately after that food was very disappointing prawn balls weren’t sweet and sour as sauce as missing and the batter was over done and on the outside and stodgy on the inside The chicken in the curry was over cooked and dry We’ve been very happy in the past but on this occasion the food fell short of acceptable 👎

Ordered my takeaway from here using the just eat app, delivery time was estimated between 18.30-18.45, however to my surprise it arrived almost an hour early, which wasn't a very good sign because I had ordered at around 18.15 so knew that it was unlikely that they had time to cook it fresh, but I thought...give them the benefit of the doubt, after all, they may have already begun cooking in preparation for the evening. Sadly, just as I suspected the food was a re-heated mess. The chicken balls were dark brown and rock hard, I even had a problem breaking one open. The chowmein was thick and dark brown, it was supposed to be chicken but just couldn't tell what the meat was within the conjealed mess. The rice was equally as appalling and so was the sweet and sour sauce. I didn't even attempt to eat any of it for fear of food poisoning...and it just looked awful anyway. I went straight back on the app and requested a refund, I was expecting that Welcome Chinese would phone me to ask what the problem was, but to my surprise and within 30 minutes of that request, I received a refund (minus delivery and service charge), no phonecall...nothing, so I can only assume that they knew full well that the food they sent was inedible, but just hoped I would accept it. I also think that to still charge me for the delivery and service charge for their inedible food, was very unfair. Furthermore, it really annoys me that, all over the media, we are encouraged to support local businesses...which I did, you would think that given the current financial climate, businesses would welcome the custom, but in this case, when they received my order, they chose to send food that was only fit for the bin! Absolute disgrace!
