Michael was such a great teacher and came up with a brilliant dance routine for us. He instantly understood our theme of musical theatre and took the time to talk to us about what we wanted to achieve. We unfortunately didn't give him a lot of time (basically one lesson) due to our busy schedules but he was patient and kind and came up with a routine very quickly. Michael was very funny and easy to work with and made the lesson enjoyable. Our wedding guests were really surprised with our choreographed dance and absolutely loved it! It was one of the highlights of an already amazing day. Thank you Michael.

We attended a group ballroom dancing class with Michael 5 weeks before our wedding as it was local to us and really liked his dance instruction even in a group setting. However, with a month to go until our big day and no prior dance experience we realised we'd need some private tuition to not make complete fools of ourselves and had a quick word with Michael after the lesson to see if he'd be willing to take us on despite he'd seen we both had two left feet and were short of time. At this stage we really just planned to get him to show us how to dance cheek to cheek without stepping on each others toes. Despite he was choreographing a dance premiere at the time, Michael was somehow able to squeeze 3 private classes in with us over the next 3-4 weeks at times that suited us. We learnt about 1/3 of the dance each time and no time was wasted learning the names of moves or other pointless detail - he would dance the move with each of us and then make us do it together, correcting any errors. We were soon amazed at what we were able to achieve and became very enthusiastic about learning the next part. The clear instruction, repetition of difficult parts as well as having each stage written down on paper meant we were able to practice each section between classes, building up the dance bit by bit. We practiced the whole sequence about 5 times a week during this period. Fast forward to our wedding day - our guests were SO SURPRISED when we put on an amazing dance performance including lifts, spinning around in the air, arms wrapped into a knot without ending up in a ball on the floor... Thanks to Michael's clear, to-the-point and methodical instruction we'd been transformed from two lost causes to very convincing dancers in no-time! We would recommend him to anyone stressing out about their wedding dance!!

Michael Voss is outstanding. A brilliant teacher. Our wedding song was a little unusual but it didn't phase him for even a second. He choreographed the most stunning dance and made sure we knew every step. We felt like a million dollars on the night. Highly recommended, and he is so so lovely to work with.
